I've always been obsessed with all things beauty, so it was no surprise I spent my high school years assisting at a salon in my hometown of Chicago. That's where the thrill of seeing these beautiful transformations sparked my interest in being the artist myself! After achieving a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from NIU, I decided to finally pursue my passion for Cosmetology. I graduated with honors from Pivot Point Academy in 2014, and went on to assist influential stylists in their apprentice programs before receiving my own chair. Taking everything I learned in Chicago with me, I decided to pack up and move to Austin in 2016. After working for only a short time as a stylist here, in 2018 I was fortunate enough to open my own salon, Live Free Hair Studio. This salon has been a way for me to express my artistry to its fullest potential and run my salon based on what I value most..cultivating amazing client relationships.
Color is my pride and passion, and I crave constantly learning and perfecting all the latest color trends and techniques to bring back to my clients. Many stylists bind themselves to one specialty, but color is so inspirational to me. I curated my craft in all blonding, darkening, and vivid techniques to satisfy my craving for creativity. I love nothing more than seeing my clients ecstatic about their transformation, and our vision beautifully translated onto their hair.
Cutting techniques are constantly evolving and I value constant, continuing education to always keep up. Whether you desire a long layered cut, intricate pixie, or a clean fade, I can customize the perfect cut for you.
